8-14.           ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابَ النَّارِ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     یہ تو چکھ لو اور جان لو کہ بے شک کافروں کے لیے دوزخ کا عذاب ہے
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the fire."




8-36.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنْفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ
    


 [Ahmed Ali]     بے شک جو لوگ کافر ہیں وہ اپنے مال خرچ کرتے ہیں تاکہ الله کی راہ سے روکیں سو ابھی اور بھی خرچ کریں گے پھر وہ ان کے لیے حسرت ہو گا پھر مغلوب کیے جائیں گے اور جو کافر ہیں وہ دوزخ کی طرف جمع کیے جائیں گے
    




 [Yusuf Ali]     The unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the path of Allah
 and so will they continue to spend;          
 but in the end they will have (only) regrets
and sighs; at length they will be overcome:
and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell.―
