147-AC- MUSLIMS FEAR ALLAH, JUDGMENT IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK IT STARTS THE DAY WE DIE

Al-Anbiya | The Prophetsسورة الأنبياء  Sura # 21 | Makkah


21---38.           وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     ور کہتے ہیں یہ وعدہ کب ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     They say: "When will this promise come to pass, if ye are telling the truth?"


21-39.           لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَنْ وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     کاش یہ منکر اس وقت کو جان لیں کہ اپنے مونہوں اوراپنی پیٹھوں سے آگ کو روک نہیں سکیں گے اور نہ وہ مدد کیے جائیں گے
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them!



21-40.           بَلْ تَأْتِيهِمْ بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ
    


 [Ahmed Ali]     بلکہ وہ ان پر ناگہان آئے گی پھر وہ ان کے ہوش کھو دے گی پھر نہ اسے ٹال سکیں گے اورنہ انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     Nay, it may come to them all of a sudden and confound them: no power will they have then to avert it, nor will they (then) get respite.
