 Al Ankaboot-29-38.         وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور ہم نے عاد اور ثمود کو ہلاک کیا اور تمہیں ان کے کچھ مکانات بھی دکھائی دیتے ہیں اور شیطان نے ان کے اعمال انہیں آراستہ کر دکھائے اور انہیں راہ سے روک دیا حالانکہ وہ سمجھدار تھے
  

  [Yusuf Ali]     (Remember also) the `Ad and the Thamud (people): clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate): the Evil One made their deeds alluring to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with Intelligence and Skill.




Sura Fatir 35-5.           يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
   


  [Ahmed Ali]     اے لوگو بے شک الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے پھر تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور تمہیں الله کے بارے میں دھوکہ باز دھوکا نہ دے
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     O men! certainly the promise of Allah is true, Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.
