COMAND-Permission to eat food- Social order-S24/61/-

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24/61.           لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ آبَائِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَانِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَامِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَالِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَالَاتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا ۚ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ بُيُوتًا فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
   

[Ahmed Ali]     اندھے پر اور لنگڑ ے پر اور بیمار پر اور خود تم پر اس بات میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اپنے گھروں سے کھانا کھاؤ یا اپنے باپ کے گھروں سے یا اپنی ماؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے بھائیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی بہنوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے چچاؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی پھوپھیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے ماموؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی خالاؤں کےگھروں سے یا ان گھروں سے جنکی کنجیاں تمہارے اختیار میں ہیں یا اپنے دوستوں کے گھروں سے تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ مل کر کھاؤ یا الگ الگ کھاؤ پھر جب گھروں میں داخل ہونا چاہو تو اپنے لوگوں سے سلام کیا کرو جو الله کی طرف سے مبارک اور عمدہ دعا ہے اسی طرح الله تمہارے لیے احکام بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھو
   





[Yusuf Ali]     it is no fault in the blind nor in one born lame, nor in one afflicted with illness,

nor in yourselves, that ye should eat in your own houses, 

or those of your fathers, or your mothers, 

or your brothers, 

or your sisters, 

or your father's brothers, 

or your father's sisters,

or your mother's brothers,

or your mother's sisters,

or in houses of which the keys are in your possession 

or in the house of a sincere friend of yours:

there is no blame on you, whether ye eat in company orseparately. 

But if ye enter houses, salute each other―

a greeting or blessing and purity as from Allah.

Thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: that ye may understand.

COMAND-Permission of entry-SOCIAL ORDER-S24-/58/59/-

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24/58.           يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْذِنْكُمُ الَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْكُمْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ۚ مِنْ قَبْلِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ الظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ۚ ثَلَاثُ عَوْرَاتٍ لَكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌ بَعْدَهُنَّ ۚ طَوَّافُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
   

[Ahmed Ali]     اے ایمان والو تمہارے غلام اور تمہارےوہ لڑکے جو ابھی بالغ نہیں ہوئے تم سے ان تین وقتوں میں اجازت لے کر آیا کریں صبح کی نماز سے پہلے اور دوپہر کے وقت جب کہ تم اپنے کپڑے اتار دیتے ہو اور عشا کی نماز کے بعد یہ تین وقت تمہارے پردوں کے ہیں ان کے بعد تم پر اور نہ ان پر کوئی الزام ہے تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے پاس آنے جانے والے ہو اسی طرح الله تمہارے لیے آیتیں کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے اور الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے
    


[Yusuf Ali]     O ye who believe! let those whom your right hands possess, 

and the (children) among you who have not come of age ask your permission

(before they come to your presence), 

on three occasions before morning prayer; the while ye doff your clothes

for the noonday heat; 

and after the late-night prayer: 

these are your three times of undress: 

outside those times it is not wrong for you or for them to move about attending to each other:

thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
 






An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24/59.           وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْأَطْفَالُ مِنْكُمُ الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنُوا كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
   

[Ahmed Ali]     اورجب تمہارے لڑکے بلوغ کو پہنچ جائیں انہیں بھی اجازت لے کر آنا چاہیے جس طرح کہ ان سے پہلے لوگ اجازت لے کر آتے ہیں الله اس طرح تمہارے لیے کھول کر احکام بیان کرتا ہے اور الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے
   



[Yusuf Ali]     But when the children among you come of age

let them (also) ask for permission, as do those senior to them (in age):

thus does Allah make clear His Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

COMAND--MARRIAGE-Social oder--S24-/32/33/-An-Noor | The Light سورة النور Sura # 24 | Madina 24/32. وَأَنْكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِنْ يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ [Ahmed Ali] اور جو تم میں مجرّد ہوں اور جو تمہارے غلام اور لونڈیاں نیک ہوں سب کے نکاح کرادو اگر وہ مفلس ہو ں گے تو الله اپنے فضل سے انہیں غنی کر دے گا اور الله کشائش والا سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے [Yusuf Ali] Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among your slaves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. An-Noor | The Light سورة النور Sura # 24 | Madina 24/33. وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا ۖ وَآتُوهُمْ مِنْ مَالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَمَنْ يُكْرِهْهُنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ [Ahmed Ali] اور چاہیے کہ پاک دامن رہیں وہ جو نکاح کی توفیق نہیں رکھتے یہاں تک کہ الله انہیں اپنے فضل سے غنی کر دے اور تمہارے غلاموں میں سے جو لوگ مال دے کر آزادی کی تحریر چاہیں تو انہیں لکھ دو بشرطیکہ ان میں بہتری کے آثار پاؤ اور انہیں الله کے مال میں سے دو جو اس نے تمہیں دیا ہے اور تمہاری لونڈیاں جو پاک دامن رہنا چاہتی ہیں انہیں دنیا کی زندگی کے فائدہ کی غرض سے زنا پر مجبور نہ کرو اور جو انہیں مجبور کرے گا تو الله ان کے مجبور ہونے کے بعد بخشنے والا مہربان ہے [Yusuf Ali] Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum) give them such a deed if ye know any good in them; yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet after such compulsion, is Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them).

24/32.           وَأَنْكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِنْ يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِ ناشکریيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور جو تم میں مجرّد ہوں اور جو تمہارے غلام اور لونڈیاں نیک ہوں سب کے نکاح کرادو اگر وہ مفلس ہو ں گے تو الله اپنے فضل سے انہیں غنی کر دے گا اور الله کشائش والا سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Marry those among you who are single, 

or the virtuous ones among your slaves, male or female:

24/33.           وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا ۖ وَآتُوهُمْ مِنْ مَالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَمَنْ يُكْرِهْهُنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور چاہیے کہ پاک دامن رہیں وہ جو نکاح کی توفیق نہیں رکھتے یہاں تک کہ الله انہیں اپنے فضل سے غنی کر دے اور تمہارے غلاموں میں سے جو لوگ مال دے کر آزادی کی تحریر چاہیں تو انہیں لکھ دو بشرطیکہ ان میں بہتری کے آثار پاؤ اور انہیں الله کے مال میں سے دو جو اس نے تمہیں دیا ہے اور تمہاری لونڈیاں جو پاک دامن رہنا چاہتی ہیں انہیں دنیا کی زندگی کے فائدہ کی غرض سے زنا پر مجبور نہ کرو اور جو انہیں مجبور کرے گا تو الله ان کے مجبور ہونے کے بعد بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste,

until Allah gives them means out of His grace. 

And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing 

(to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum) give them such a deed

if ye know any good in them; yea, give them something yourselves 

out of the means which Allah has given to you.

But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity,

in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life.

But if anyone compels them, yet after such compulsion, is Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them).

Comand--HIJAB-Social order--S24-/30/31/60/-HIJAB-- Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. --------HIJAB--COVERING--- And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah that ye may attain Bliss.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24-30.           قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

    
[Ahmed Ali]     ایمان والوں سے کہہ دو کہ وہ اپنی نگاہ نیچی رکھا کریں اور اپنی شرم گاہوں کو بھی محفوظ رکھیں یہ ان کے لیے بہت پاکیزہ ہے بے شک الله جانتا ہے جو وہ کرتے ہیں

  



  [Yusuf Ali]     Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze

and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: 

and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/31.           وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَائِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ أَوِ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُولِي الْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَىٰ عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ ۖ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِنْ زِينَتِهِنَّ ۚ وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

   

[Ahmed Ali]     اور ایمان والیوں سے کہہ دو کہ اپنی نگاہ نیچی رکھیں اور اپنی عصمت کی حفاظت کریں اور اپنی زینت کو ظاہر نہ کریں مگر جو جگہ اس میں سے کھلی رہتی ہے اوراپنے دوپٹے اپنے سینوں پر ڈالے رکھیں اوراپنی زینت ظاہر نہ کریں مگر اپنے خاوندوں پر یا اپنے باپ یا خاوند کے باپ یا اپنے بھائیوں یا بھتیجوں یا بھانجوں پر یا اپنی عورتوں پر یا اپنے غلاموں پر یا ان خدمت گاروں پر جنہیں عورت کی حاجت نہیں یا ان لڑکوں پر جو عورتوں کی پردہ کی چیزوں سے واقف نہیں اور اپنے پاؤں زمین پر زور سے نہ ماریں کہ ان کا مخفی زیور معلوم ہوجائے اوراے مسلمانو تم سب الله کے سامنے توبہ کرو تاکہ تم نجات پاؤ

   


[Yusuf Ali]     And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze 

and guard their modesty;

that they should not display their beauty

and ornaments except what (ordinarily) appear thereof;

that they should draw their veils over their bosoms 

and not display their beauty except to their husbands,

their fathers, their husbands' fathers,

their sons, their husbands' sons,

their brothers, or their brothers' sons, 

or their sisters' sons, or their women, 

or the slaves whom their right hands possess

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24/60.    وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ ۖ وَأَنْ يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
     

[Ahmed Ali]     اوروہ بڑی بوڑھی عورتیں جو نکاح کی رغبت نہیں رکھتیں ان پر اس بات میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ اپنے کپڑے اتار رکھیں بشرطیکہ زینت کا اظہار نہ کریں اور اس سے بھی بچیں توان کے لیے بہتر ہے اور الله سننے والا جاننے والا ہے
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage―

there is no blame on them if they lay aside their (outer) garments,

provided they make not a wanton display of their beauty:

but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things.

Al-Ahzab   The Coalition سورة الأحزاب  Sura # 33 | Madina
33--59.           يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اے نبی اپنی بیویوں اور بیٹیوں اور مسلمانوں کی عورتوں سے کہہ دو کہ اپنے مونہوں پر نقاب ڈالا کریں یہ اس سے زیادہ قریب ہے کہ پہچانی جائیں پھر نہ ستائی جائیں اور الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     O prophet! tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women,

that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad):

that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested:

and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Comand-Forbidden-relationship-Social order, --S24-/26- Women impure are for men impure and men impure are for women impure; and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/26.           الْخَبِيثَاتُ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ وَالْخَبِيثُونَ لِلْخَبِيثَاتِ ۖ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ ۖ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ

     [Ahmed Ali]     ناپاک عورتیں ناپاک مردوں کے لیے ہیں اور ناپاک مرد ناپاک عورتو ں کے لیے ہیں او رپاک عورتیں پاک مردوں کے لیے ہیں اور پاک مرد پاک عورتوں کے لیے ہیں وہ لوگ اس سے پاک ہیں جو یہ کہتے ہیں ا ن کے لیے بخشش اورعزت کی روزی ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Women impure are for men impure

and men impure are for women impure; 

and women of purity are for men of purity, 

and men of purity are for women of purity:

these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable.

Comand-Salander-Social order--S24-/23/24/-- Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty―

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/23.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

 [Ahmed Ali]     جو لوگ پاک دامنوں بے خبر ایمان والیوں پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں ان پر دنیا اور آخرت میں لعنت ہے اوران کے لیےبڑا عذاب ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty―

24/24.           يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     جس دن ان پر ان کی زبانیں اور ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں گواہی دیں گے جو کچھ وہ کیا کرتے تھے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions

.

Comand-Attention not to give charities, --Social orders--S24-/22/- to help muslims brothers in need

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/22.           وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُولُو الْفَضْلِ مِنْكُمْ وَالسَّعَةِ أَنْ يُؤْتُوا أُولِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور تم میں سے بزرگی اور کشائش والے اس بات پر قسم نہ کھائیں کہ رشتہ داروں اور مسکینوں اور الله کی راہ میں ہجرت کرنے والوں کو نہ دیا کریں گے اور انہیں معاف کرنا اور درگذر کرنا چاہیے کیا تم نہیں چاہتے کہ الله تمہیں معاف کر دے اور الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen those in want,

and those who have left their homes in Allah's cause:

let them forgive and overlook: do you not wish that Allah should forgive you?

For Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

Comand-Scandles-Social orders--S24/19/24/25/--Publishing & Broadcasting Scandles Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: Allah knows and ye know not.------ Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty―On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions.

24/19.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     بے شک جو لوگ چاہتے ہیں کہ ایمانداروں میں بدکاری کا چرچا ہو ان کے لیے دنیا اور آخرت میں دردناک عذاب ہے اور الله جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: Allah knows and ye know not.

24/23.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

 [Ahmed Ali]     جو لوگ پاک دامنوں بے خبر ایمان والیوں پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں ان پر دنیا اور آخرت میں لعنت ہے اوران کے لیےبڑا عذاب ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty―

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/24.           يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

     

[Ahmed Ali]     جس دن ان پر ان کی زبانیں اور ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں گواہی دیں گے جو کچھ وہ کیا کرتے تھے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/25.           يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ اللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ الْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ

   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اس دن الله انہیں انصاف سے پوری جزا دے گا اور جان لیں گے بے شک الله ہی حق بیان کرنے والا ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     On that Day Allah will pay them back (all) their just dues,

and they will realise that Allah is the (very) Truth, that makes all things manifest.

Comand--Witness-Accusation- Social orders for the Muslims--S24-/11/to/18/- Accusation on Prophet slam wife is the incident--- Social orders-- Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: Why did they not bring four witnesses, to prove it? When they have not brought the witnesses such men in the sight of Allah, (stand forth) themselves as liars! And why did ye not when ye heard it say? "It is not right of us to speak of this Allah doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct) if ye are (true) Believers.

24/11.     إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ ۚ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّا لَكُمْ ۖ بَلْهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۚ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ ۚ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ كِبْرَهُ مِنْهُمْ لَهُ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     بے شک جو لوگ یہ طوفان لائے ہیں تم ہی میں سے ایک گروہ ہے تم سے اپنے حق میں برا نہ سمجھو بلکہ وہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے ان میں سے ہر ایک کے لیے بقدرِ عمل گناہ ہے اور جس نے ان میں سے سب سے زیادہ حصہ لیا اس کے لیے بڑا عذاب ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you: on the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that he earned and to him who took on himself the lead among them will be a Penalty grievous.

24/12.           لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًا وَقَالُوا هَٰذَا إِفْكٌ مُبِينٌ

     [Ahmed Ali]     جب تم نے یہ بات سنی تھی تو مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں نے اپنے لوگوں کے ساتھ نیک گمان کیوں نہ کیا او رکیو ں نہ کہا کہ یہ صریح بہتان ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Why did not Believers, men and women when ye heard of the affair― put the best construction on it in their own minds and say "This (charge) is an obvious lie"?

24/13.           لَوْلَا جَاءُوا عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِالشُّهَدَاءِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     یہ لوگ اس پرچار گواہ کیو ں نہ لائے پھر جب وہ گواہ نہ لائے تو الله کے نزدیک وہی جھوٹے ہیں

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Why did they not bring four witnesses, to prove it? When they have not brought the witnesses such men in the sight of Allah, (stand forth) themselves as liars!

24/14.           وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور اگر تم پر الله کا فضل اور دنیا اور آخرت میں اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی تو اس چرچا کرنے میں تم پر کوئی بڑی آفت پڑتی

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, in this world and the Hereafter, a grievous penalty would have seized you in that ye rushed glibly into this affair.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

2415.           إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ مَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّنًا وَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     جب تم اسے اپنی زبانوں سے نکالنے لگے اور اپنے مونہوں سے وہ بات کہنی شروع کر دی جس کا تمہیں علم بھی نہ تھا اور تم نے اسے ہلکی بات سمجھ لیا تھا حالانکہ وہ الله کے نزدیک بڑی بات ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Behold ye received it on your tongues and said out of your mouths things of which ye had no knowledge; and ye thought it to be a light matter, while it was most serious in the sight of Allah.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/16.      وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُمْ مَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَٰذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور جب تم نے اسے سنا تھا تو کیوں نہ کہہ دیا کہ ہمیں تو اس کا منہ سے نکالنا بھی لائق نہیں سبحان الله یہ بڑا بہتان ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     And why did ye not when ye heard it say? "It is not right of us to speak of this: Glory to Thee (our Lord)! this is a most serious slander!"

 24/17.           يَعِظُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَعُودُوا لِمِثْلِهِ أَبَدًا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     الله تمہیں نصیحت کرتا ہے کہ پھر کبھی ایسا نہ کرنا اگر تم ایمان دار ہو

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Allah doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct) if ye are (true) Believers.

24/18.           وَيُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور الله تمہارے لیے آیتیں بیان کرتا ہے اور الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

     

[Yusuf Ali]     And Allah makes the Signs plain to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

24/6.           وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     او رجو لوگ اپنی بیویوں پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں اور ان کے لیے سوائے اپنے اورکوئی گواہ نہیں تو ایسے شخص کی گواہی کی یہ صورت ہے کہ چار مرتبہ الله کی قسم کھا کر گواہی دے کہ بے شک وہ سچا ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own― their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth;

24/7.           وَالْخَامِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ

  

   [Ahmed Ali]     او رپانچویں مرتبہ یہ کہے کہ اس پر اللہ کی لعنت ہواگر وہ جھوٹا ہے

    [Yusuf Ali]     And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/8.           وَيَدْرَأُ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     او رعورت کی سزا کو یہ بات دور کر دے گی کہ الله کو گواہ کر کے چار مرتبہ یہ کہے کہ بے شک اس پر الله کا غضب پڑے اگر وہ سچا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     But it would avert the punishment from the wife, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) by Allah, that (her husband) is telling a lie;

24/9.           وَالْخَامِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور پانچویں مرتبہ کہے کہ بے شک اس پر الله کا غضب پڑے اگر وہ سچا ہے

  

   [Yusuf Ali]     And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the truth.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/10.           وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور اگر تم پر الله کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی اور یہ کہ الله توبہ قبول کرنے والا حکمت والا ہے (تو کیا کچھ نہ ہوتا)

    

[Yusuf Ali]     If there were not for Allah's grace and mercy on you, and that Allah is Oft-Returning, Full of Wisdom--- (ye would be ruined indeed).

COMAND--Crime & Repentance --S-24-/1/2/3/4/5/-

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/1.       سُورَةٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنْزَلْنَا فِيهَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     یہ ایک سورت ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اور اس کے احکام ہم نے ہی فرض کئے ہیں اور ہم نے اس میں صاف صاف آیتیں نازل کی ہیں تاکہ تم سمجھو

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     A Surah which We have sent down and which We have ordained: in it have We sent down Clear Signs, in order that ye may receive admonition.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/2.           الزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِي فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُمْ بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۖ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَائِفَةٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     بدکار عورت اور بدکار مرد سو دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کو سو سو دُرّے مارو اور تمہیں الله کے معاملہ میں ان پر ذرا رحم نہ آنا چاہیئے اگر تم الله پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتے ہو اور ان کی سزا کے وقت مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت کو حاضر رہنا چاہیئے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication― flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina

24/3.           الزَّانِي لَا يَنْكِحُ إِلَّا زَانِيَةً أَوْ مُشْرِكَةً وَالزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ ۚ وَحُرِّمَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     بدکار مرد سوائے بدکار عورت یا مشرکہ کے نکاح نہیں کرے گا اور بدکار عورت سے سوائے بد کار مرد یا مشرک کے اور کوئی نکاح نہیں کرے گا اور ایمان والوں پر یہ حرام کیا گیا ہے

  

   [Yusuf Ali]     Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.

24/4.           وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً أَبَدًا ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور جو لوگ پاک دامن عورتوں پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں اور پھر چار گواہ نہیں لاتے تو انہیں اسّی درے مارو اور کبھی ان کی گواہی قبول نہ کرو اور وہی لوگ نافرمان ہیں

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegation)― flog them with eighty stripes: and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors

24/5.           إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     مگر جنہوں نے اس کے بعد توبہ کر لی اور درست ہو گئے تو بے شک الله ہی بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Unless they repent thereafter and mend (their conduct): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Comand -Hudhdood- punnishments---S24-/1/2/-

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24/1.       سُورَةٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنْزَلْنَا فِيهَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
   
[Ahmed Ali]     یہ ایک سورت ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اور اس کے احکام ہم نے ہی فرض کئے ہیں اور ہم نے اس میں صاف صاف آیتیں نازل کی ہیں تاکہ تم سمجھو

Al-Hajj | The Pilgrimage سورة الحج  Sura # 22 | Madina

22/78.           وَجَاهِدُوا فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ ۚ هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ ۚ مِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۚ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَفِي هَٰذَا لِيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ ۚ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور الله کی راہ میں کوشش کرو جیسا کوشش کرنے کا حق ہے اس نے تمہیں پسند کیا ہے اور دین میں تم پر کسی طرح کی سختی نہیں کی تمہارے باپ ابراھیم کا دین ہے اسی نے تمہارا نام پہلے سےمسلمان رکھا تھااوراس قرآن میں بھی تاکہ رسول تم پر گواہ بنے اور تم لوگو ں پر گواہ بنو پس نماز قائم کرو اور زکوٰة دو اور الله کو مضبوط ہو کر پکڑو وہی تمہارا مولیٰ ہے پھر کیا ہی اچھامولیٰ اور کیا ہی اچھا مددگار ہے

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline): He has chosen you and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector― the― Best to protect and the Best to help!

Comand- Hujdh Qurbani--S22/32/33/34/

Al-Hajj | The Pilgrimage سورة الحج  Sura # 22 | Madina
22/32.           ذَٰلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
   


[Ahmed Ali]     بات یہی ہے اور جو شخص الله کی نامزد چیزوں کی تعظیم کرتا ہے سو یہ دل کی پرہیز گاری ہے
   


[Yusuf Ali]     Such (is his state): and whoever holds in honour the Symbols of Allah, (in the sacrifice of animals), such (honour) should come truly from piety of heart.




Al-Hajj | The Pilgrimage سورة الحج  Sura # 22 | Madina
22-33.           لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ
   


[Ahmed Ali]     تمہارے لیے ان میں ایک وقت معین تک فائدے ہیں پھر اس کے ذبح ہونے کی جگہ قدیم گھر کے قریب ہے
  

  [Yusuf Ali]     In them ye have benefits for a term appointed: in the end their place of sacrifice is near the Ancient House.



Al-Hajj | The Pilgrimage سورة الحج  Sura # 22 | Madina
22/34.           وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا لِيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ ۗ فَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَلَهُ أَسْلِمُوا ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُخْبِتِينَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اور ہر امت کے لیے ہم نے قربانی مقرر کر دی تھی تاکہ الله نے جو چار پائے انہیں دیے ہیں ان پر الله کا نام یاد کیا کریں پھر تم سب کا معبود تو ایک الله ہی ہے پس اس کے فرمانبردار رہو اور عاجزی کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری سنا دو
     [Yusuf Ali]     To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice), that they might celebrate the name of Allah over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food) but your God is one God: submit then your wills to Him (in Islam) and give thou the Good News to those who humble themselves―

Comand- Enjoyment & Splender of life Test -S20-/131

20/131.           وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْهُمْ زَهْرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ
  
  [Ahmed Ali]     اور تو اپنی نظر ان چیزو ں کی طرف نہ دوڑا جو ہم نے مختلف قسم کے لوگوں کو دنیاوی زندگی کی رونق کے سامان دے رکھے ہیں تاکہ ہم انہیں اس میں آزمائیں او رتیرے رب کا رزق بہتر اور دیرپا ہے
     [Yusuf Ali]     Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.

How He doth prolong the Shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! Then do We make the sun its guide:

Adh-DhariyThewinnowing winds  سورة الذاريات  Sura # 51 | Makkah
5I--56.           وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اور میں نے جن اور انسان کو بنایا ہے تو صرف اپنی بندگی کے لیے
     [Yusuf Ali]     I have only created jinns and men, that they may serve Me.

Al-Furqan  The Standard سورة الفرقان  Sura # 25 | Makkah
25-45    بِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا
    
 [Ahmed Ali]     کیا تو نے اپنے رب کی طرف نہیں دیکھا کہ اس نے سایہ کو کیسے پھیلایا ہے اور اگر چاہتا تو اسے ٹھہرا رکھتا پھر ہم نے سورج کو اس کا سبب بنا دیا ہے
     [Yusuf Ali]     Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord? How He doth prolong the Shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! Then do We make the sun its guide:

Ar-Room  The Roman سورة الروم  Sura # 30 |Makkah
30/17.           فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     پھر الله کی تسبیح کرو جب تم شام کرو اور جب تم صبح کرو
     [Yusuf Ali]     So (give) glory to Allah, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning;
 



Ar-Room  The Roman سورة الروم  Sura # 30 |Makkah
30/18.           وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ
     
[Ahmed Ali]     اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں اسی کی تعریف ہے اور پچھلے پہر بھی اور جب دوپہر ہو
     [Yusuf Ali]     Yea, To Him be praise, in the heavens and on earth; and in the late afternoon and when the day begins to decline.



Ar-Room  The Roman سورة الروم  Sura # 30 |Makkah
30/31.           ۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
    
 [Ahmed Ali]     اسی کی طرف رجوع کیے رہو اور اس سے ڈرو اور نماز قائم کرو اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ ہوجاؤ
     [Yusuf Ali]     Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah,―





سورة الإسراء  Sura # 17 | Makkah  Al-Isra | The night journey

I7-78.           أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَىٰ غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ ۖ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا

 [Ahmed Ali]     آفتاب کے ڈھلنےسے رات کے اندھیرے تک نماز پڑھا کرو اور صبح کی نماز بھی بے شک صبح کی نماز میں مجمع ہو تا ہے

     [Yusuf Ali]     Establish regular prayers at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading in the morning carry their testimony.

  



  سورة الإسراء  Sura # 17 | Makkah  Al-Isra | The night journey

17/79.           وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَكَ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا

     [Ahmed Ali]     اور کسی وقت رات میں تہجد پڑھا کرو جو تیرے لیے زائد چیز ہے قریب ہے کہ تیرا رب مقام محمود میں پہنچا دے

  
   [Yusuf Ali]     And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a station of Praise and Glory!

   سورة الإسراء  Sura # 17 | Makkah  Al-Isra | The night journey

I7-110.           قُلِ ادْعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمَٰنَ ۖ أَيًّا مَا تَدْعُوا فَلَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا

    
[Ahmed Ali]     کہہ دو الله کہہ کر یا رحمٰن کہہ کر پکارو جس نام سے پکاروسب اسی کے عمدہ نام ہیں اور اپنی نماز میں نہ چلا کر پڑھ اور نہ بالکل ہی آہستہ پڑھ اور اس کے درمیان راستہ اختیار کر

     [Yusuf Ali]     Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between."

17/111.           وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا

   
  [Ahmed Ali]     اور کہہ دو سب تعریفیں الله کے لیے ہیں جس کی نہ کوئی اولاد ہے اورنہ کوئی اس کا سلطنت میں شریک ہے اور نہ کوئی کمزوری کی وجہ سے اس کا مددگار ہے اور اس کی بڑائی بیان کرتےر ہو

     [Yusuf Ali]     Say: "Praise be to Allah Who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: Yea, magnify Him for His Greatness and Glory!"

Taha |  | Taha  سورة طه  Sura # 20 | Makkah

20-130.           فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا ۖ وَمِنْ آنَاءِ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَىٰ

     [Ahmed Ali]     پس صبر کر اس پر جو کہتے ہیں اور سورج کے نکلنے اور ڈوبنے سے پہلے اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح بیان کر اور رات کی کچھ گھڑیوں میں اور دن کے اول اور آخر میں تسبیح کر تاکہ تجھے خوشی حاصل ہو

     [Yusuf Ali]     Therefore be patient with what they say and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy.

Taha |  | Taha  سورة طه  Sura # 20 | Makkah

20-132.           وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا ۖ لَا نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا ۖ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ ۗ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور اپنے گھر والو ں کو نماز کا حکم کر اور خود بھی اس پر قائم رہ ہم تجھ سے روزی نہیں مانگتے ہم تجھے روزی دیتے ہیں اور پرہیزگاری کا انجام اچھا ہے

   
 [Yusuf Ali]     Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for Righteous22-

22-77.يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ۩

    
 [Ahmed Ali]     اے ایمان والو رکوع اور سجدہ کرو اور اپنے رب کی بندگی کرو اور بھلائی کرو تاکہ تمہارا بھلا ہو

     [Yusuf Ali]     O ye who believe! Bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper.

An-Noor | The Light  سورة النور  Sura # 24 | Madina
24-56.           وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اور نماز پڑھا کرو اور زکوٰة دیا کرو اور رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے
     [Yusuf Ali]     So establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity: and obey the Messenger; that ye may receive mercy.

Al-Ankaboot  The Spider] سورة العنكبوت  Sura # 29 | Makkah
29-45.           اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     جو کتاب تیری طرف وحی کی گئی ہے اسے پڑھا کرو اور نماز کے پابند رہو بے شک نماز بے حیائی اوربری بات سے روکتی ہے اور الله کی یاد بہت بڑی چیز ہے اور الله جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee,

and establish Regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; 

and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do.              
 

Al-Ankaboot  The Spider] سورة العنكبوت  Sura # 29 | Makkah
29/56.           يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ أَرْضِي وَاسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُونِ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اے میرے بندو جو ایمان لائے ہو میری زمین کشادہ ہے پس میری ہی عبادت کرو
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     O My servants who believe! Truly, spacious is My Earth: therefore serve ye Me (and Me alone)!

Ar-Room  The Roman سورة الروم  Sura # 30 |Makkah
30/31.           ۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

Al-Ahzab   The Coalition سورة الأحزاب  Sura # 33 | Madina
33-41.           يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اے ایمان والو الله کو بہت یاد کرو
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often;
 

Al-Ahzab   The Coalition سورة الأحزاب  Sura # 33 | Madina
33/42.           وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور اس کی صبح و شام پاکی بیان کرو
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     And glorify Him morning and evening.
 

Az-Zumar  The Troops سورة الزمر  Sura # 39 | Makkah
39/66.           بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعْبُدْ وَكُنْ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     بلکہ الله ہی کی عبادت کرو اور جس کے شکر گزار رہو
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks.
 

Ghafir.  (Al,momin)  The Forgiver سورة غافر  Sura # 40 | Makkah
40/14.           فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     پس الله کو پکارو اس کے لیے عبادت کو خالص کرتے ہوئے اگرچہ کافر برا منائیں
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Call ye, then upon Allah with sincere devotion to Him, even though the Unbelievers may detest it.
 

Qaf  سورة ق  Sura # 50 | Makkah
50/40.           وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ
 

 [Ahmed Ali] اورکچھ رات میں بھی اس کی تسبیح کر اور نماز کے بعد بھی
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     And during part of the night, (also), celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration.
 

At-tur  Mount Sinai  سورة الطور Sura # 52 | Makkah
52/49.           وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور (کچھ حصہ رات میں بھی) اس کی تسبیح کیا کیجیئے اور ستاروں کے غروب ہونے کے بعد بھی
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     And for part of the night also praise thou Him― and at the retreat of the stars!
 

Al-Jinn  The Jinn سورة الجن  Sura # 72 | Makkah
72 --18.           وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اوربے شک مسجدیں الله کے لیے ہیں پس تم الله کے ساتھ کسی کو نہ پکارو
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     "And the places of worship are for Allah (alone): so invoke not anyone along with Allah;20.       

    قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَدْعُو رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ أَحَدًا
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     کہہ دو میں تو اپنے رب ہی کو پکارتا ہوں اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کوبھی شریک نہیں کرتا
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)."
 

Al-Ala  The Most High        سورة الأعلى Sura # 87 | Makkah
87/1.           سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى
 

 [Ahmed Ali]     اپنے رب کے نام کی تسبیح کیا کر جو سب سے اعلیٰ ہے
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,

 

WOR-39/1.           تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     یہ کتاب الله کی طرف سے نازل کی گئی ہے جو غالب حکمت والا ہے
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.
 

Az-Zumar  The Troops سورة الزمر  Sura # 39 | Makkah
WORSHIP-39/2.           إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْح مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     بے شک ہم نے یہ کتاب ٹھیک طور پر آپ کی طرف نازل کی ہے پس تو خالص الله ہی کی فرمانبرداری مدِ نظر رکھ کر اسی کی عبادت کر
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve Allah, offering Him sincere devotion.

Fussilat  (ASujdha)  Explained in detail      سورة فصلت  Sura # 41 | Makkah
41-36. وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اور اگر آپ کو شیطان سے کوئی وسوسہ آنے لگے تو الله کی پناہ مانگیئے بے شک وہی سب کچھ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے
     [Yusuf Ali]     And if (at any time) an incitement to discord is made to thee by the Evil One, 

seek refuge in Allah. He is the One Who hears and knows all things.

Fussilat  (ASujdha)  Explained in detail      سورة فصلت  Sura # 41 | Makkah41/38.           فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ ۩
     [Ahmed Ali]     پھر اگر وہ تکبر کریں تو وہ لوگ جو آپ کے رب کے پاس ہیں رات دن اس کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں اور تھکتے نہیں
     [Yusuf Ali]     But if they (Unbelievers) are arrogant, (no matter): for in the presence of thy Lord are those who

celebrate His praises by night and by day. And they never flag (nor feel themselves above it).

Qaf  سورة ق  Sura # 50 | Makkah

50/39.           فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ
     [Ahmed Ali]     پس ان باتوں پر صبر کر جو وہ کہتے ہیں اور اپنے رب کی پاکیزگی بیان کر تعریف کے ساتھ دن نکلنے سے پہلے اور دن چھپنے سے پہلے
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     Bear, then, with, patience all that they say and celebrate the praises of thy Lord,

before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting

At-tur  Mount Sinai  سورة الطور Sura # 52 | Makkah
52/48.           وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اور اپنے رب کا حکم آنے تک صبر کر کیوں کہ بےشک آپ ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہیں اور اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کیجیئے جب آپ اٹھا کریں
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in our eyes: 

and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth.

 56-74.           فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ
     [Ahmed Ali]     پس اپنے رب کے نام کی تسبیح کر جو بڑا عظمت والا ہے

5721.           سَابِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
     

[Ahmed Ali]     اپنے رب کی مغفرت کی طرف دوڑو اور جنت کی طرف جس کا عرض آسمان اور زمین کے عرض کے برابر ہے ان کے لیے تیار کی گئی ہے جو الله اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لائے یہ الله کا فضل ہے وہ جسے چاہتا ہے دیتا ہے اور الله بڑے فضل والا ہے
     

[Yusuf Ali]     Be ye foremost (in seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, and a Garden (of Bliss), the width whereof is as the width of Heaven and earth,

prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers: that is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He pleases: and Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding.

106/1.           لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
    

 [Ahmed Ali]     اس لیے کہ قریش کو مانوس کر دیا
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,


106/2.           إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ
   
 [Ahmed Ali]     ان کو جاڑے اور گرمی کے سفر سے مانوس کرنے کے باعث
    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer―




106/3.           فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ
     [Ahmed Ali]     ان کو اس گھرکے مالک کی عبادت کرنی چاہیئے
  
   [Yusuf Ali]     Let them adore the Lord of this House,

106/4.           الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     جس نے ان کو بھوک میں کھلایا اور ان کو خوف سے امن دیا
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).

     [Ahmed Ali]     یہ اس حکمت میں سے ہے جسے تیرے رب نے تیری طرف وحی کیا ہے اور الله کے ساتھ اور کسی کو معبود نہ بنا ورنہ تو ملزم مردود بنا کر جہنم میں ڈال دیا جائے گا

     [Yusuf Ali]     These are among the (precepts of) wisdom which thy Lord has revealed to thee. 
Take not with Allah another object of worship, lest thou shouldst be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected.

     [Ahmed Ali]     اور ناپ تول کر دو تو پورا ناپو اور صحیح ترازو سے تول کر دو یہ بہتر ہے اور انجام بھی اس کا اچھا ہے

     [Yusuf Ali]     Give full measure when ye measure, 
and weigh with a balance that is straight: 
that is the most fitting and 
the most advantageous in the final determination.

COMAND-Murder&Qisas--S-17-/33/- 17/33. وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلَا يُسْرِفْ فِي الْقَتْلِ ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْصُورًا [Ahmed Ali] اور جس جان کو قتل کرنا الله نے حرام کر دیا ہے اسے ناحق قتل نہ کرنا اور جو کوئی ظلم سے مارا جائے تو ہم نے اس کے ولی کے واسطے اختیار دے دیا ہے لہذاا قصاص میں زيادتی نہ کرے بے شک اس کی مدد کی گئی ہے [Yusuf Ali] Nor take life which Allah has made sacred― except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully We have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life: for he is helped (by the Law).

     [Yusuf Ali]     Nor take life which Allah has made sacred― 
except for just cause. 
And if anyone is slain wrongfully 
We have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life:

     [Ahmed Ali]     اور اپنی اولاد کو تنگدستی کے ڈر سے قتل نہ کرو ہم انہیں بھی رزق دیتے ہیں اور تمہیں بھی بے شک ان کا قتل کرنا بڑا گناہ ہے

     [Yusuf Ali]     Kill not your children for fear of want: 
We shall provide, sustenance for them as well as for you:
verily the killing of them is a great sin.

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور اپنا ہاتھ اپنی گردن کے ساتھ بندھا ہوانہ رکھ اور نہ اسے کھول دے بالکل ہی کھول دینا پھر تو پشیمان تہی دست ہو کر بیٹھ رہے گا

   
[Yusuf Ali]     Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck,
nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, 
so that thou become blameworthy and destitute.

17/30.           إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا

  
[Ahmed Ali]     بے شک تیرا رب جس کے لئے چاہے رزق کشادہ کر تا ہے اور تنگ بھی کرتا ہے بے شک وہ اپنے بندوں کو جاننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Verily thy Lord doth provide sustenance in abundance for whom He pleaseth, and He provideth in a just measure: for He doth know and regard all His servants.

 [Ahmed Ali]     الله اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس میں سے خرچ کرو جس میں اس نے تمہیں پہلوں کا جانشین بنایا ہے پس جو لوگ تم میں سے ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے خرچ کیا ان کے لیے بڑا اجر ہے
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     Believe in Allah and His Messenger, 
and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof 
He has made you heirs,
For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity)―
for them is a great Reward.

COMMAND- Rights of Parents-S17-/23//24/ Civilised society give them old people Homes Muslims are follow suit Through democracy Islam gives honour----Sura---- Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour ------- Muslims burried in poverty it is a burdon hard to carry, Hell is beter But you still got a choice Unite to establish Islam & State will support you

i7/23.           ۞ وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا ۚ إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِنْدَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُلْ لَهُمَا أُفٍّ وَلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُلْ لَهُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيمًا

 

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور تیرا رب فیصلہ کر چکا ہے اس کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیکی کرو اور اگر تیرے سامنے ان میں سے ایک یا دونوں بڑھاپے کو پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں اف بھی نہ کہو اور نہ انہیں جھڑکو اور ان سے ادب سے بات کرو

    

[Yusuf Ali]     Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him,
and that ye be kind to parents. 
Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, 
say not to them a word of contempt, 
nor repel them, 
but address them in terms of honour.

17/24.           وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُلْ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

  
[Ahmed Ali]     اوران کے سامنے شفقت سے عاجزی کے ساتھ جھکے رہو اور کہو اے میرے رب جس طرح انہوں نے مجھے بچپن سےپالا ہے اسی طرح تو بھی ان پر رحم فرما

    

[Yusuf Ali]     And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: "My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood."



Al-Ankaboot  The Spider] سورة العنكبوت  Sura # 29 | Makkah
 29--8.           وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۚ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
 [Ahmed Ali]     اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اور اگر وہ تجھے اس بات پر مجبور کریں کہ تو میرے ساتھ اسے شریک بنائے جسے تو جانتا بھی نہیں تو ان کا کہنا نہ مان تم سب نے لوٹ کرمیرے ہاں ہی آنا ہے تب میں تمہیں بتا دوں گا جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے
    


 [Yusuf Ali]     We have enjoined on man kindness to parents: 
but if they (either of them) strive (to force) thee to join with Me (in worship) anything of which thou hast no knowledge,

obey them not. Ye have (all) to return to Me, and I will tell you (the truth) of all that ye did.
