Verdict--S5-/90/91/- Forbidden is Gambling intoxicants Allah gives the reason don,t make your own, if reason is defeated (you own) your Eman is defeated Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? 5-90.           يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
  

[Ahmed Ali]     اے ایمان والو شراب اور جوا اور بت اور فال کے تیر سب شیطان کے گندے کام ہیں سو ان سے بچتے رہو تاکہ تم نجات پاؤ
     [Yusuf Ali]     O ye who believe! Intoxicants 
and gambling, 
(dedication of) stones, 
and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination―
of Satan's handiwork: eschew such (abomination),
that ye may prosper.

     [Ahmed Ali]     شیطان تو یہی چاہتا ہے کہ شراب اور جوئے کے ذریعے سےتم میں دشمنی اور بغض ڈال دے اور تمہیں الله کی یاد سے اور نماز سے روکے سو اب بھی باز آجاؤ
