S70/22 to 35 Al-Maarij | The Ascending stairwaysسورة المعارج Sura # 70 | Makkah Students Who become Teachers (Qualifications) 70 -22. إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ [Ahmed Ali] مگر وہ نمازی [Yusuf Ali] Not so those devoted to Prayer― 70-23. الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ [Ahmed Ali] جو اپنی نماز پر ہمیشہ سے قائم ہیں [Yusuf Ali] Those who remain steadfast to their prayer; 70-24. وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ [Ahmed Ali] اوروہ جن کے مالو ں میں حصہ معین ہے [Yusuf Ali] And those in whose wealth is a recognised right 70-25. لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ [Ahmed Ali] سائل اور غیر سائل کے لیے [Yusuf Ali] For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking); 70-26. وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ [Ahmed Ali] اوروہ جو قیامت کے دن کا یقین رکھتے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment; 70-27. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَ [Ahmed Ali] اور وہ جو اپنے رب کے عذاب سے ڈرنے والے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who fear the punishment of their Lord― 70-28. إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ [Ahmed Ali] بے شک ان کے رب کے عذاب کا خطرہ لگا ہوا ہے [Yusuf Ali] For their Lord's displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity― 70-29. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ [Ahmed Ali] اوروہ جو اپنی شرم گاہوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who guard their chastity 70-30. إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ [Ahmed Ali] مگر اپنی بیویوں یا اپنی لونڈیوں سے سو بے شک انہیں کوئی ملامت نہیں [Yusuf Ali] Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess― for (then) they are not to be blamed, 70-31. فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ [Ahmed Ali] پس جو کوئی اس کے سوا چاہے سو وہی لوگ حد سے بڑھنے والے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors― 70-32. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ [Ahmed Ali] اور وہ جواپنی امانتوں اور عہدوں کی رعایت رکھتے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who respect their trusts and covenants; 70-33. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ [Ahmed Ali] اور وہ جو اپنی گواہیوں پر قائم رہتے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who stand firm in their testimonies; 70-34. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ [Ahmed Ali] اور وہ جو اپنی نمازوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں [Yusuf Ali] And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship― 70-35. أُولَٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَ [Ahmed Ali] وہی لوگ باغوں میں عزت سے رہیں گے [Yusuf Ali] Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens of (Bliss).

2/44.           ۞ أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنْسَوْنَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     کیا لوگوں کو تم نیکی کا حکم کرتے ہو اور اپنے آپ کو بھول جاتے ہو حالانکہ تم کتاب پڑھتے ہو پھر کیوں نہیں سمجھتے
     [Yusuf Ali]     Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people and forget (to practise it) yourselves and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand                                                                                               

Sura # 2 | Madina سورة البقرةAl-Baqara | 286 verses | The Cow  
2/151.           كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًا مِنْكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمْ مَا لَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْلَمُونَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     جیسا کہ ہم نے تم میں ایک رسول تم ہی میں سے بھیجا جو تم پر ہماری آیتیں پڑھتا ہے اور تمہیں پاک کرتا ہے اور تمہیں کتاب اور دانائی سکھاتا ہے اور تمہیں سکھاتا ہے جو تم نہیں جانتے تھے
     [Yusuf Ali]     A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own rehearsing to you Our signs, and purifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and wisdom, and in new Knowledge.

Students  Who become  Teachers     (Qualifications)                                                                                   70 -22.           إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     مگر وہ نمازی
     [Yusuf Ali]     Not so those devoted to Prayer―
70-23.           الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     جو اپنی نماز پر ہمیشہ سے قائم ہیں
     [Yusuf Ali]     Those who remain steadfast to their prayer;
70-24.           وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ
     [Ahmed Ali]     اوروہ جن کے مالو ں میں حصہ معین ہے

70-25.           لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
     [Ahmed Ali]     سائل اور غیر سائل کے لیے

     [Ahmed Ali]     اور وہ جو اپنی نمازوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں
     [Yusuf Ali]     And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship―
70-35.           أُولَٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَ
     [Ahmed Ali]     وہی لوگ باغوں میں عزت سے رہیں گے
     [Yusuf Ali]     Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens of (Bliss).
