41/33. وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور اس سے بہتر کس کی بات ہے جس نلوگوں کو الله کی طرف بلایا اور خود بھی اچھے کام کیے اور کہا بے شک میں بھی فرمانبرداروں میں سے ہوں
    

[Yusuf Ali]     Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says "I am of those who bow in Islam"?

42-36.           فَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     پھر جو کچھ تمہیں دیا گیا ہے وہ دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان ہے اور جو کچھ الله کے پاس ہے وہ بہتر اور سدا رہنے والا ہے یہ ان کے لیے ہے جو ایمان لائے اور اپنے رب پر توکل کرتے ہیں
    

[Yusuf Ali]     Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this Life:but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe  and put their trust in their Lord;

[Ahmed Ali]     اور وہ جو اپنے رب کا حکم مانتے ہیں اور نماز ادا کرتے ہیں اور ان کا کام باہمی مشورے سے ہوتا ہے اور ہمارے دیے ہوئے میں سے کچھ دیا بھی کرتے ہیں
   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Those who harken to their Lord, and establish regular prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance;

42/39.           وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنْتَصِرُونَ
 

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور وہ لوگ جب ان پر ظلم ہوتا ہے تو بدلہ لیتے ہیں
    

[Yusuf Ali]     And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves.

42/43.           وَلَمَنْ صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
   

  [Ahmed Ali]     اور البتہ جس نے صبر کیا اور معاف کر دیا بے شکے یہ بڑی ہمت کا کام ہے
    

[Yusuf Ali]     But indeed if any show patience and forgive,

 that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs.
 

Al-Ahqaf  The wind- curved sandhil Sura # 46 | Makkah   سورة الأحقاف muslim
46/13.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     بے شک جنہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب الله ہے پھر اسی پر جمے رہے پس ان پر کوئی خوف نہیں اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے
    

[Yusuf Ali]     Verily those who say "Our Lord is Allah" and remain firm (on that Path)―on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

44/14.           أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     یہی بہشتی ہیں اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے بدلےان کاموں کے جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے
    

[Yusuf Ali]     Such shall be Companions of the Garden, dwelling therein (for aye):   a recompense for their (good) deeds.
 

Muhammad  سورة محمد  Sura # 47 | Madina  muslim
47/21.     طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ ۚ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللَّهَ لَكَانخَيْرًا لَهُمْ
     [Ahmed Ali]     حکم ماننا اور نیک بات کہنا (لازم ہے) پس جب بات قرار پا جائے تو اگر وہ الله کے سچے رہے تو ان کے لیے بہتر ہے
   

  [Yusuf Ali]     Were it to obey and say what is just, and when a matter is resolved on,  it were best for them if they were true to Allah.
 

Al-Hujraat  The private apartments سورة الحجرات  Sura # 49 | Madina     muslims
49-7.           وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ۚ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     اور جان لو کہ تم میں الله کا رسول موجود ہے اگر وہ بہت سی باتوں میں تمہارا کہا مانے تو تم پر مشکل پڑ جائے لیکن الله نے تمہارے دلوں میں ایمان کی محبت ڈال دی ہے اوراس کو تمہارے دلوں میں اچھاکردکھایا ہے اور تمہارے دل میں کفر اور گناہ اور نافرمانی کی نفرت ڈال دی ہے یہی لوگ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں
    

[Yusuf Ali]     And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly suffer: 

 but Allah has endeared the Faith to you, 

 and has made it beautiful in your hearts and

 He has made hateful to you unbelief, wickedness and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness―
