Al-Hajj | The Pilgrimage سورة الحج  Sura # 22 | Madina

22-78.           وَجَاهِدُوا فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ ۚ هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ ۚ مِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۚ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَفِي هَٰذَا لِيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ ۚ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ

   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور الله کی راہ میں کوشش کرو جیسا کوشش کرنے کا حق ہے اس نے تمہیں پسند کیا ہے اور دین میں تم پر کسی طرح کی سختی نہیں کی تمہارے باپ ابراھیم کا دین ہے اسی نے تمہارا نام پہلے سےمسلمان رکھا تھااوراس قرآن میں بھی تاکہ رسول تم پر گواہ بنے اور تم لوگو ں پر گواہ بنو پس نماز قائم کرو اور زکوٰة دو اور الله کو مضبوط ہو کر پکڑو وہی تمہارا مولیٰ ہے پھر کیا ہی اچھامولیٰ اور کیا ہی اچھا مددگار ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive,

(with sincerity and under discipline): 

He has chosen you and

has imposed no difficulties on you in religion;

it is the cult of your father Abraham. 

It is He Who has named you Muslims,

both before and in this (Revelation); 

that the Messenger may be a witness for you, 

and ye be witnesses for mankind!

So establish regular Prayer give regular Charity, 

and hold fast to Allah!

He is your Protector― the― Best to protect and the Best to help!

Al-Mumenoon |  The Believers سورة المؤمنون  Sura # 23 | Makkah

23-71وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ ۚ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُمْ بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِمْ مُعْرِضُونَ

 [Ahmed Ali]     اوراگر حق ان کی خواہشوں کے مطابق ہوتا تو آسمان اور زمین میں اورجو کچھ ان میں ہے درہم برہم ہو گیا ہوتا بلکہ ہم نے تو ان کی نصیحت انہیں پہنچا دی ہے سو وہ اپنی نصیحت سے منہ موڑنے والے ہیں

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, 

truly the heavens and the earth, 

and all beings therein would have been in confusion 

and corruption! Nay We have sent them their admonition, 

but they turn away from their admonition.

An-Nahl |  The Bee  سورة النحل  Sura # 16 | Makkah

16-90.           ۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

    

 [Ahmed Ali]     بے شک الله انصاف کرنے کا اوربھلائی کرنے کا اور رشتہ داروں کو دینے کا حکم کرتا ہے اوربے حیائی اوربری بات اور ظلم سے منع کرتا ہے تمہیں سمجھاتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھو

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     Allah commands justice, 

the doing of good,

and liberty to kith and kin, 

and He forbids all shameful deeds, 

and injustice and rebellion: 

He instructs you,

that ye may receive admonition.

48-28. Al-Fath  The victory   سورة الفتح  Sura # 48 | Madina

          هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

   

  [Ahmed Ali]     وہی تو ہے جس نے اپنے رسول کو ہدایت اور سچا دین دے کر بھیجا تاکہ اسے ہر ایک دین پر غالب کرے اور الله کی شہادت کافی ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     It is He who has sent His Messenger with Guidance 

and the Religion of Truth, 

to proclaim it over all religion:

and enough is Allah for a Witness.

61-9.     As-Saff | The Ranks  سورة الصف  Sura # 61 | Madina  

    هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     وہی تو ہے جس نے اپنا رسول ہدایت اور سچا دین دے کر بھیجا تاکہ اس کو سب دینوں پر غالب کرے اگرچہ مشرک نا پسند کریں

    

[Yusuf Ali]     It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance 

and the Religion of Truth, 

that he may proclaim it over all religion,

even though the Pagans may detest (it)

Sura # 3 | Madina  سورة آل عمران  Aal-e-Imran  The family of Imran

3- 19.           إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

    

 [Ahmed Ali]     بےشک دین الله کے ہاں فرمابرداری ہی ہے اور جنہیں کتاب دی گئی تھی انہوں نے صحیح علم ہونے کے بعد آپس کی ضد کے باعث اختلاف کیا اور جو شخص الله کے حکموں کا انکار کرے تو الله جلد ہی حساب لینے والا ہے

    

  [Yusuf Ali]     The Religion before Allah

is Islam (submission to His will): 

nor did the people of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other,

after knowledge had come to them. 

But if any deny the Signs of Allah,

Allah is swift in calling to account.
