   Stand for Islam

59-2.           هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ ۚ مَا ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا ۖ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ مَانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا ۖ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ ۚ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُمْ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     وہی ہے جس نے اہلِ کتاب کے کافروں کو ان کے گھروں سے پہلا لشکر جمع کرنے کے وقت نکال دیا حالانکہ تمہیں ان کے نکلنے کا گمان بھی نہ تھا اور وہ یہی سمجھ رہے تھے کہ ان کے قلعے انہیں الله سے بچا لیں گے پھر الله کا عذاب ان پر وہاں سے آیا کہ جہاں کا ان کو گمان بھی نہ تھا اوران کے دلوں میں ہیبت ڈال دی کہ اپنے گھر وں کو اپنے اورمسلمانوں کے ہاتھوں سے آپ اجاڑنے لگے پس اے آنکھوں والو عبرت حاصل کرو

   

  [Yusuf Ali]     It is He who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering

(of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: 

and they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah!

But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), 

and cast terror into their hearts, 

so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands 

and the hands of the Believers. 

Take warning then, O ye with eyes (to see)!

59-3.           وَلَوْلَا أَنْ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ

     

[Ahmed Ali]     اوراگر الله نے ان کے لیے دیس نکالا نہ لکھ دیا ہوتا تو انہیں دنیا ہی میں سزا دیتا اور آخرت میں تو ان کے لیے آگ کا عذاب ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     And had it not been that Allah has decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: and in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire.

Al-Hashr  Exile   سورة الحشر  Sura # 59 | Madina

59-4. ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۖ وَمَنْ يُشَاقِّ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

 [Ahmed Ali] یہ ا سلیے کہ انہوں نے الله اوراس کے رسول کی مخالفت کی اور جو الله کی مخالفت کرے تو بے شک الله سخت عذاب دینے والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     That is because they resisted Allah and His Messenger: and if anyone resists Allah, verily Allah is severe in Punishment.
