Stand for Islam

Islam does not live with mushriqs

War is for ever with musheriqs they are not your friends

At-Taubah | Repentance سورة التوبة  Sura # 9 | Madina

9-3.           وَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ فَإِنْ تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

   

[Ahmed Ali]     اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی طرف سے بڑے حج کے دن لوگوں کو آگاہ کیا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ اور اس کا رسول مشرکوں سے بیزار ہیں پس اگر تم توبہ کرو تو تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے اور اگر نہ مانو تو جان لو کہ تم اللہ کو ہرگز عاجز کرنے والے نہیں اور کافروں کو درد ناک عذاب کی خوشخبری سنادو

    

[Yusuf Ali]     And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage―

that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the pagans. 

If, then ye repent, it were best for you; 

but if ye turn away know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. 

And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.

9-4.           إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتُمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ

    

 [Ahmed Ali]     مگر جن مشرکوں سے تم نے عہد کیا تھا پھر انہوں نے تمہارے ساتھ کوئی قصور نہیں کیا اور تمہارے مقابلے میں کسی کی مد نہیں کی سو ان سے ان کا عہد ان کی مدت تک پورا کر دو بے شک الله پرہیز گارو ں کو پسند کرتا ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     (But the treaties are) not dissolved with those pagans with whom Ye have entered into alliance 

and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you.

So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term: for Allah loveth the righteous.

9-5.           فَإِذَا انْسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيم

  

 [Ahmed Ali]     پھر جب عزت والے مہینے گزر جائیں تو مشرکوں کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کر دو اور پکڑو اور انہیں گھیر لو اور ان کی تاک میں ہر جگہ بیٹھو پھر اگر وہ توبہ کریں اور نماز قائم کریں اور زکواة دیں تو ان کا راستہ چھوڑ دو بے شک الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     But when the forbidden months are past, 

then fight and slay the pagans 

wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, 

and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); 

but if they repent, 

and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, 

then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

9/7.           كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَعِنْدَ رَسُولِهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتُمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۖ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ

   

 [Ahmed Ali]     بھلا مشرکوں کے لیے الله اور اس کے رسول کے ہاں عہدکیوں کر ہو سکتا ہے ہاں جن لوگوں کے ساتھ تم نے مسجد حرام کے نزدیک عہد کیا ہے اگر وہ قائم رہیں توتم بھی قائم رہو بے شک الله پرہیزگاروں کو پسند کرتا ہے

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     How can there be a league before Allah and His Messenger, with the pagans, 

except those with whom ye made a treaty near the Sacred Mosque? As long as these stand true to you stand ye true to them:

for Allah doth love the righteous.

9-8.           كَيْفَ وَإِنْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوا فِيكُمْ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ يُرْضُونَكُمْ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

    

 [Ahmed Ali]     کیوں کر صلح ہو اور اگر وہ تم پر غلبہ پائیں تو نہ تمہاری قرابت کا لحاظ کریں اور نہ عہد کا تمہیں اپنی منہ کی باتوں سے راضی کرتے ہیں اور ان کے دل نہیں مانتے اور ان میں سے اکثر بد عہد ہیں

    

 [Yusuf Ali]     How (can there be such a league), seeing that if they get an advantage over you, 

they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant? With (fair words from) their mouths they entice you, 

but their hearts are averse from you; 

and most of them are rebellious and wicked.

9/9.     اشْتَرَوْا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُيَعْمَلُونَ

 [Ahmed Ali] انہوں نے الله کی آیتوں کو تھوڑی قیمت  بیڈالپھر الله کے راستے سے روکتے ہیں بے شک وہ برا ہے جو کچھ وہ کرتے ہیں

     [Yusuf Ali]     The signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price, and (many) have they hindered from His way:

evil indeed are the deeds they have done.

9-10. At-Taubah | Repentance سورة التوبة  Sura # 9 | Madina

          لَا يَرْقُبُونَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُونَ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     یہ لوگ کسی مومن کے حق میں نہ رشتہ داری کا خیال کرتے ہیں اور نہ عہد اور یہی لوگ حد سے گزرنے والے ہیں

     [Yusuf Ali]     In a Believer they respect not the ties either of kinship or of covenant!

It is they who have transgressed all bounds.
