Al-Mumtahina | She that is to be examined سورة الممتحنة  Sura 60 | Madina

60-5.           رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

 [Ahmed Ali]     اے ہمارے رب ہمیں ان کا تختہ مشق نہ بنا جو کافر ہیں اور اے ہمارے رب ہمیں معاف کر بے شک تو ہی غالب حکمت والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     "Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

60-6.           لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     البتہ تمہارے لیے ان میں ایک نیک نمونہ ہے اس کے لیے جو الله اور قیامت کے دن کی امید رکھتا ہو اور جو کوئی منہ موڑے تو بے شک الله بھی بے پرواہ خوبیوں والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to followOf prophet  Ibraheempbuh)― for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise.

60-7.           ۞ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ مَوَدَّةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ قَدِيرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

    

[Ahmed Ali]     شاید کہ الله تم میں اور ان میں کہ جن سے تمہیں دشمنی ہے دوستی قائم کر دے اور الله قادر ہے اور الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے

    

[Yusuf Ali]     It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies: for Allah has power (over all things); and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
