Al-Qasas The Story سورة القصص Sura # 28 | Makkah
28-79. W فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ ۖ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
[Ahmed Ali] اپنی قوم کے سامنے اپنے ٹھاٹھ سے نکلا جو لوگ دنیا کی زندگی کے طالب تھے کہنے لگے اے کاش ہمارے لیے بھی ویسا ہوتا جیسا کہ قارون کو دیا گیا ہے بے شک وہ بڑے نصیب والا ہے
[Yusuf Ali] So he went forth among his people in the (pride of his worldly) glitter.
Said those whose aim is the life of this World:
"Oh that we had the like of what Qarun has got!
for he is truly a lord of mighty good fortune."
