We test thNor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them the splendour of the life of this world,em: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.

CDN-40-4.           مَا يُجَادِلُ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلَا يَغْرُرْكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِي الْبِلَادِ
    

[Ahmed Ali]     الله کی آیتوں میں نہیں جھگڑتے مگر وہ لوگ جو کافر ہیں پس ان کا شہرو ں میں چلنا پھرنا آپ کو دھوکا نہ دے
   

[Yusuf Ali]     None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then their strutting about through the land deceive thee!

CDN-15-  88.           لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
   

[Ahmed Ali]     اور تو اپنی آنکھ اٹھا کر بھی ان چیزوں کو نہ دیکھ جو ہم نے مختلف قسم کے کافروں کو استعمال کے لیے دے رکھی ہیں اور ان پر غم نہ کر اور اپنے بازو ایمان والوں کے لیے جھکا دے
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     Strain not thine eyes (wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them,

nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the Believers.

CDN-20/131.           وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْهُمْ زَهْرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اور تو اپنی نظر ان چیزو ں کی طرف نہ دوڑا جو ہم نے مختلف قسم کے لوگوں کو دنیاوی زندگی کی رونق کے سامان دے رکھے ہیں تاکہ ہم انہیں اس میں آزمائیں او رتیرے رب کا رزق بہتر اور دیرپا ہے
