Az-Zukhruf  Ornament   سورة الزخرف  Sura # 43 | Makkah
43-33.           وَلَوْلَا أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَجَعَلْنَا لِمَنْ يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ
   

 [Ahmed Ali]     اوراگر یہ نہ ہوتا کہ سب لوگ ایک طریقہ کے ہوجائیں گے (کافر) تو جو الله کے منکر ہیں انکے گھروں کی چھت اور ان پر چڑھنے کی سیڑھیاں چاندی کی کر دیتے
   


 [Yusuf Ali]     And were it not that (all) men might become one (evil) way of life,

 We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes

 against (Allah) Most Gracious,

 silver roofs for their houses, and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up.

[Yusuf Ali]     And (silver) doors to their houses, and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline

[Yusuf Ali]     And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing

but conveniences of the present life:

the Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord, is for the Righteous.


43-36.           وَمَنْ يَعْشُ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ
   
 [Ahmed Ali]     اورجو الله کی یاد سے غافل ہوتا ہے تو ہم اس پر ایک شیطان متعین کر تے ہیں پھر وہ اس کا ساتھی رہتا ہے
   

 [Yusuf Ali]     If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of Most Gracious,

We appoint for him an evil one to be an intimate companion to him.
