TDN--are you pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, ? Are you exulted in your life (of ease and plenty)!

POOR SAYS ISLAM IS FOR THE RICH, - RICH SAYS I AM SELF SUFFICIANT ISLAM IS FOR THE POOR 2010ce                                                                                                                                       

Yunus  Jonahسورة يونس  Sura # 10 | Makkah  
IO-  7.           إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا وَرَضُوا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَأَنُّوا بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ
   
[Ahmed Ali]     البتہ جو لوگ ہم سے ملنے کی امید نہیں رکھتے اور دنیاکی زندگی پر خوش ہوئے اور اسی پر مطمئن ہو گئے اور جو لوگ ہماری نشانیوں سے غافل ہیں
  
  [Yusuf Ali]     Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us,

but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present,

and those who heed not Our Signs―



10/-8./           أُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
  
  [Ahmed Ali]     ان کا ٹھکانا آگ ہے بسبب اس کے جو کرتے تھے
   

[Yusuf Ali]     Their abode is the Fire because of the (evil) they earned.




Al-Qasas  The Story  سورة القصص  Sura # 28 | Makkah
28-58.           وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا ۖ فَتِلْكَ مَسَاكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَنْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ۖ وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ الْوَارِثِينَ
   
[Ahmed Ali]     اور ہم نے بہت سی بستیوں کو ہلاک کر ڈالا جو اپنے سامان عیش پر نازاں تھے سو یہ ان کے گھر ہیں کہ ان کے بعد آباد نہیں ہوئے مگر بہت کم اورہم ہی وارث ہوئے
   

[Yusuf Ali]     And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)

! Now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted―

all but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!
